Aberdeenshire: Conservation-led Regeneration and Restoration

Fyvie and Cluny, Aberdeenshire

7th June 2025 - 10am - 4pm


IHBC Scotland in collaboration with National Trust for Scotland and North East Scotland Preservation Trust has organised two site visits to Old Home Farm, Fyvie Castle and the Elyza Fraser Mausoleum to see first hand the ongoing works to safeguard these historic sites. Limited places are available on these hard hat tours. Attendees will need to provide their own PPE and travel arrangements.

At this event we will review the history of planning in Dunkeld and consider the challenges and opportunities facing today’s planners in allowing development while conserving their rich built heritage.
