To commence your registration for all categories of IHBC membership online click below:
- This online registration is for all categories of IHBC membership
- The default membership category here is Affiliate, the recommended starting point for anyone interested in IHBC membership AND the recommended starting point for anyone seeking to become an accredited professional 'Full member' of the IHBC.
Fees
- The IHBC subscription year runs from April to March. Your registration fee will consist of the subscription for the year (pro-rata), plus a one-off administration fee of £25 (standard rate) or £15 (concessionary rate).
- The full subscription fees for 2026/27 are £160 (standard rate)/ £80 (concessionary rate)

Deadlines for Applications
For Full or Associate applications the dates will be:
Monday 24 August for earliest possible decision date of December 2026
Monday 30 November for earliest possible decision date of April 2027
Monday 15 February for earliest possible decision date of June 2027
Monday 24 May for earliest possible decision date of September 2027
Monday 23 August for earliest possible decision date of December 2027
Monday 29 November for earliest possible decision date of April 2028
The estimated processing time for applications, from the submission date, is provided as a guideline only and is not a guarantee. When the Institute receives a large volume of applications, it will implement a strict process to limit the number assessed. If this happens, applications will be deferred to the next assessment round, and applicants will be notified of the anticipated decision date.
